Character Based Improvisation Masterclass with Rob Marchand
An acclaimed Australian film and TV director Robert Marchand is touring Europe once again with his famous and unique master workshop - Character Based Improvisation.
After a long conversation and a glass of wine by the Sydney Opera Rob agreed to stop over in Zagreb and do his signature 5 day workshop for Zagreb based actors and directors.
CBI process has been used by film and theatre directors in their work with actors, creating believable and lifelike characters. It enhances the communication and understanding between a director and an actor, provides excellent tools to the actors for creating the characters and living them during the filming. The characters take life of their own and can react to any new or unexpected situation that arrises in the process of filming or theatre play. The process is very liberating for actors and a valuable tool in their careers.
The Zagreb workshop is scheduled from 19 to 23 October 2018. The venue will be announced at a later date. We are only taking 9 actors, 3 directors and 1 screenwriter.
